Old School Disney Logo Halloween Trophy
Переглядів 1,5 тис.5 років тому
Every year we have a themed Halloween party and this year it s Disney characters. We make a trophy every year to give away at a contest and this year I made the old Disney logo that was used in the 80's and 90's out of poplar and walnut. My only hope is that whomever wins this year will love this as much as I do.
Making a kids cabin bed.
Переглядів 19 тис.5 років тому
My good friends Ryan and Jen needed a new bed for there oldest and asked me if I could come hang out for the weekend and build one with them. Jen really liked the Jen Woodhouse Cabin Bed that was made famous on Ana White's blog. And so I printed out the plans and we got to work. My son, Declan, wanted to make a lock box to keep certain Lego treasures secure and safe. After acquiring some hinges and a latch from the store we set to work. Using some plywood, glue, and stain, we were able to put it all together in a few hours.

Massive gaming table!
Переглядів 4326 років тому
Every year for my birthday we have a game day. I invite some friends and family over and we play games like Secret Hitler, Codenames, and Cards Against Humanity. Last year we had some trouble getting enough people around the table to play a full ten person Secret Hitler, so this year I modded our dining table into a massive gaming table! Turning a twin mattress into a sofa.
Переглядів 69 тис.6 років тому
We have a twin bed we use for guests to sleep over on but don't really like the way it looks in our living room. We always need more seating so I made a frame to turn the bed into a little sofa that easily converts to a bed when we need it to. If you like what you see, please take a minute and subscribe to my channel! Like the video if you're of the liking sort! And tell a friend about me! Thanks!

    If you don't want your wood to slide around when gluing up. A few grains of sand or salt will work wonders.

    Dude! We could so be twins in the workshop. I do the same kind of " oops" moments and the talk to myself and make a joke about it. Awesome to see someone who has a natural attitude about it and not a professional attitude. Makes understanding a lot easier. Have a blessed day!

    I shouldve looked at the thumbnail. I read the title and though the mattress was getting converted into a futon style mattress. Maybe cutting and sewing in fold points.

    How do you access the hoses if you need to?

    • @SamDeedsWoodworking
      @SamDeedsWoodworking 4 роки тому

      You can access them enough to turn them on and off. If anything remotely serious needs to be done then I use brad nails and no glue to make everything "easy" to disassemble.

    • @SamDeedsWoodworking
      @SamDeedsWoodworking 3 роки тому

      The counter is very easily removable. It's only tacked in place. I did have to access the hoses later and it wasn't hard to take the counter off, do what I needed to do and then put it back.
